Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) are located throughout rural Atlantic Canada. In addition to offering counsel to start-up companies, they offer established business people advice on planning expansion, training workshops and a wide range of other services.

Regional Economic Development Organizations (REDOs) are located throughout Atlantic Canada. There are 52 locations that can help build and drive local economic development in partnership with all three levels of government, plus economic development organizations and various stakeholders.
